School Priorities

David pointed to the value of the work done by the South West Public Health Observatory and the development of the Healthy Schools Plus Mapping Tool. He said this initial health profile of the region should influence what schools do. As Healthy Schools Plus is voluntary, schools need to recognise its relevance and the Tool will help them to see how the health needs of the most disadvantaged are being met.
