The value of working together

One of the key drivers for Healthy Schools Plus has been the success of the NHSP’s Local Programmes and David underlined the importance of robust health and education partnerships in taking the Healthy Schools ethos to the next level.

He said: “The Department of Health South West provided a sum of money to test bed Health Schools Plus activities and the Local Programmes responded with enthusiasm. I was very lucky to be able to work with a collection of extremely gifted people – and Healthy Schools Plus is the result of this collective activity.”
