Peter showed a screen shot of Cornwall (Kernow) Healthy School Website. Cornwall is one of the leading South West programmes helping to develop South West Healthy Schools Plus. All the local programmes have worked in innovatory ways, a small sample of work being:

• Dorset – focusing initially on Weymouth and Portland area, where the needs of children and young people are most complex.
• Gloucestershire – undertaking ground-breaking work around emotional health and wellbeing, as well as displaying a history of innovative healthy eating work.
• Somerset – re-viewing the skills mix of the Healthy Schools team and making appointments to new South West Healthy Schools Plus roles.
• Torbay – focusing on sex and relationship education.
• Wiltshire – developing the concept of Healthy Schools Plus across a cluster of schools.
